View - Geometry Colors - Material Colors:

Clicking a material will load its current color in the color panel. Clicking the panel will bring up a color selection menu that lets the user choose a new color. Apply will accept the changes for that material. Clicking "Color by Material" will make all solids colored based on the color of their material (in Graphics window and Listview).
