Parameters - Model Parameters:
In this menu the user selects the dimensionality of the problem (2D or 3D), the solution type ( transient or Steady State), the flow regime (Laminar or
Turbulent), the initial temperature (Note: The locally defined temperatures will take
precedence over initial temperature specified here), the gravity field ( for natural
convection problems), and whether radiation should be included in the analysis as well as tolerances
for the creation of radiation surfaces.
| This menu is displayed during the initialization of a
new model. Clicking OK after selecting appropriate parameters will
display the graphics windows. |
 |
| All the information provided on this menu ( except the
model dimensionality) can be changed by the user at any time during
model creation. For example user can change initial temperature anytime
before job submittal. |
| The "Include Electrical Effects" check box indicates
whether electrical solver is to be activated or not. Selecting this
option results in displaying a data box to input reference voltage |
| The Radiation check box is checked to include radiation
effects in the model. If radiation is included in the analysis two
additional boxes will be displayed where minimum and maximum size of
radiation surfaces can be input.( Note: please leave the defaults unless
you have a strong reason to change them. |
