BCs - Radiation - Radiation Network:

Radiation Network creates radiation boundary conditions for all of the surfaces that are open to the air in the model. Any surfaces less than the minimum size given for the tolerance or greater than the maximum size given will not be included with the radiation network surfaces.

Radiation surfaces are automatically generated based on specified Min/Max size specified for the surfaces. Radiation is a nonlinear and integral process. It is advisable to use smallest possible radiosity network( i.e. largest possible radiation surface). Emissivities are assigned globally from the material emissivity form.

Calculated viewfactors can be displayed.

Radiation Surface Tolerances: First you have to specify the minimum and maximum size of the surfaces that should be created for the radiation network. If a surface is smaller than the minimum it will be ignored. If a surface is larger than the maximum size than it will be split so that the surfaces are smaller than the maximum size.

Reset Surfaces: This lets you specify the tolerances again and re-calculate the surfaces
Show: This will display the selected surface on the screen

Break:

Delete: This removes the selected surface from the list of radiation network surfaces
