User Manual

Parameters - Solver Parameters:

This menu allows the user to enter solver parameters that fall into four categories.

Iteration Controls, Tolerance Controls, Display Controls and Convergence Controls.

Iteration controls are used to specify maximum number of passes the solver will perform in different parts of the solution process. Max. Flow must be equal or less than Max. Overall. By adjusting the Max. Flow iterations you can solve flow to a point and then use it in thermal analysis.
The tolerance controls are used to specify the level of accuracy deemed acceptable by user in solving specific equations. The flow tolerance must be equal or greater than overall. Raising the flow tolerance can make the flow solution converge faster at the expense of  a little bit of accuracy which can decrease the time to solve the thermal field without harming your results.
